Bunga smiled, "Eh... I guess that's alright. Would be better if they were more immature like me!" he proclaimed, "I still hope to see one!" the way he put it equated them to an animal, somewhat.
His jaw dropped at Kabili's question. "Hakuna... matata." he stared. "Your dad didn't... oh boy." he put his hand to his head in a face-paw. "This is Hakuna Matata Falls, but Hakuna Matata it means, 'no worries'. It's our problem-free philosophy~!" he laughed.
"It means don't let anything get you down, take nothing seriously! Everything is about being peaceful and safe!" he proclaimed. "Zuka Zama is my motto, it means Pop Up, Dive in!" he laughed, pulling Kabili into a tight side-hug, "But it really means never have worries about what might happen! Just do it and take it all in stride~"

Hakuna Matata meant no worries? Well that made sense with how chill the falls were didn’t it? Though it sounded like it was pretty important - or at least it should have been. Why would his dad have told him? “I’m guessing dad knows a lot about it ?” He asked of course he hadn’t heard the whole story about his time here yet.
He listened to what Bunga had to say about both though, even with the side hug. It was a good philosophy - or at least to a point. But most of all... “That sounds like something I could use some use of,” he said on both counts. “I feel like I’m always worried about stuff sometimes. It’s why I’m so shy sometimes.”

Bunga smiled, "Oh yeah, everyone needs a little Hakuna Matata!" he said proudly, "Your dad was raised in it, it's how he got over what happened to his dad!" he said without tact, true to Zuka Zama.
"Never be shy! You need to make your voice heard! You're the prince and everyone needs to know it, and hear you! You can't worry about what might happen, or nothing is gonna happen! You need to stand out more than you need to fit in!"

Huh, that was crazy. He hadn’t even connected the dots that this was where Simba had actually lived with Timon and Pumbaa. Who knew huh? But then again it wasn’t too crazy to think. “That’s actually kind of cool. Growing up here must be something else,” he explained. “Especially with that philosophy.”
Man, he hadn’t even thought of things the way Bunga had. He guessed he did have a point. And being in the royal family definitely had started to make him get out of his shell more he couldn’t doubt that. “Yeah, I’m definitely working on it at least,” he chuckled. “It’s one of those slow processes though. It just kinda has to do with how things were back home.”

"It's not just something else, it's unbungabelievable!" he shouted, just because he could and it felt right. "Every day is an adventure, and now you are a part of it!" he said with a big grin, "We're going to have the best time, it'll be amazing!"
Bunga scoffed at Kabili's comments, "It's only slow because you're making it into work! You have to loosen up, feel the roar inside of you! Zuka zama! Don't care about what people think of you, just be you!" he encouraged, "And I'm sure they will like it because they want to like you, Kabilli-dilli!"

Every day an adventure? Well he could definitely relate to that. Since every day over at Pride Rock felt like one too. “I know what you mean. I feel like I’m in one of my adventure books at this point,” he explained. “In fact I actually was reading a story like this before it happened. It was about a guy named Tarzan, except he was raised by apes.”
Don’t... Care? He supposed that was also a good point. Considering his parents loved him, and his siblings seemed to accept him. Did anyone else matter really? “I guess you’re right that I need to relax a bit more,” he replied. “It’s easier now... Y’know since I’m no longer in my trial period and all.”

Bunga smiled a goofy smile, "Books?" he hummed, "I do like an adventure, though. Is a book like a story? I'd love to hear it!" he said, anything new was always worth checking out!
"Exactly! You're a lion now, you need to act like one! Kion doesn't go around hoping people don't point and stare. He tells it like it is." he proclaimed, "Whatever you do, you do it and you get the respect you deserve!" he said, trying to pump him up. "Get in there, grab the best spot in the water hole, and grab a big drink!" the badger said, metaphorically.

Oh right, someone from the jungle probably didn’t really know what a book was! Good job, Kabili. Make him feel like a dunce. “Books are like... Stories. But they’re told in words. Not out loud,” he said. “Some are fictional and some are true. Tarzan was fiction for example - it didn’t really happen... I think. I mean maybe it did.”
Another good point. After all at the end of the day, lions were top... Cat around here and animals could only walk all over him as long as he let them “I mean that’s something I’m starting to get over at least,” he pointed out. “I mean sure I’m not biologically a lion. But they consider me part of their pride and that’s all that matters right?” Of course he did correct himself. “As long as I keep the others respect obviously.”

Bunga didn't seem to feel like a dunce, or maybe he just didn't mind being one! It was hard to tell with his demeanor. "Oh like, paintings?" he scratched his head, starting to feel dumb now, however. He only understood 'not out loud', and was on the right track at least. "Yeah, but stories always exaggerate, even if they are true!" he understood fiction well enough, at least the concept.
He smiled, "Right! All that matters is that you think and act like a lion." he rolled his eyes, "Respect is for the birds!" he scoffed.

Kabili tilted his head.
Paintings! Did people tell stories through paintings? If so that was pretty damn cool. He wanted to see some! Maybe it was like the ones in Egypt he’d heard about! The hieroglyphs or something? “Wow you guys tell stories through paintings?” He asked even more excited than he intended to. “That’s soooo cool!”

Bunga laughed, "Of course we do! Just ask Rafiki! He's got a cave full of them." he said, "More impressive than words, I bet?" by his reaction it seemed so. "You still need someone to explain what they mean, though..." he shrugged, he thought, rare enough for him of course, maybe you didn't need someone to interpret 'words'?

Kabili tapped his chin.
Rafiki has a lot of them? Of course it didn’t surprise him since he seemed to be a bit of a lore keeper in these parts. But he was definitely intrigued by the idea of learning more about it from him. “Yeah I’ll have to give the old nut a house call sometime soon I guess,” he admitted with a grin. “I mean words are pretty cool too! It lets you make up a lot in your imagination!”

Bunga nodded, "Ha! Good one. Just be careful around him." he said, "Even I don't want to get hit by that staff again!" he did have... something of a brain under that white mane of his. "Let me know if you are down to playing sometime! Or if you find any of your books! I know you came here to talk to my uncles, but... well." he scratched his head, "They still aren't back." he shrugged.
