Participating: Nala (NPC) , @kiara , @kovu , @sarabi , Samwel Igwe , @rafiki , Zazu , Timon , Pumbaa (NPC), Vitani and her Lion Guard (NPCs)
The king was sitting in front of the entrance of the den while giving Rafiki some worried look next to him, waiting for the others to join. The last Mfalme Mkuu ceremony, the earthquake, the revealed human village had put Simba in an upset mental state that he couldn't even sleep well at night. He wanted answers. He had already considered visiting the Tree of Life before, but these recent events just confirmed it. He had also mentioned it during a previous conversation to his mother Sarabi who gave permission, and on the other hand, Nala had decided to accompany him on this long journey too - and Simba was grateful for her support.
"Well, we need to discuss something." Simba began to speak. "Something is going on, with all these events recently - humans show up, the earthquake, discovery of the human village near the Gorge - questions are brought to my mind and I think it's my responsbility to find the answers. When I was a cub father told me something about the Tomb of the Lost Prince which - I think - can mean the solution. Something inside me tells me it's at the Tree of Life. So me and Nala are going to go there." The lion paused here for a moment, scanning the face of the others and waiting for someone to react. He knew by making this decision he also made another decision: leaving Kiara and Kovu in charge. It was not he didn't consider them suitable, but Simba knew Kiara's flexible (and naive) attitude that was not allowed these times with that kind of danger around. Yet, he decided to give his daughter a chance to prove herself as future Queen. Furthermore, this journey also gave him an opportunity to meet his son Kion whom he missed so much.
