History: Sarabi was childhood friends with Mufasa and Taka. The two boys courted her, though the previous King and Queen decided Mufasa would be betrothed to her, which was a decision she agreed to. This would forever be a point of contention between herself and Taka.
When Simba was born, she was proud of him and juggled the duties of a huntress with that of being a mother and a Queen. Mufasa's death and the loss of their cub crashed down on her, and though she was stripped of her title as Queen, she remained a stalwart leader to the lionesses during hunts.
The coming years were brutal as she refused Taka and kept her head held high regardless of his, and the hyenas, threats. She looked after Nala as well during this time, knowing a youth such as her would be in constant danger.
Simba's return would herald a new age for her and the pridelands as a whole. Though she no longer is a part of the hunting parties, she takes her place with tales of the past and insight on various subjects.
