GENERAL INFO

Personality: Kovu has always been soft of heart due to the weight put on his shoulders, ever since that day Scar chose him to be his heir. In the darkness, Kovu saw the light shining through, and kept his eyes and heart on it even as his mother tried to turn him into a killer, with a lust for being bad!

Adulthood came to him with much confusion, as he learned the teachings of his mother were wrong he was pushed to stop the fighting between the lions thanks to the brightest light in his life, Kiara! Peace had finally come to the Pridelands, but not to Kovu's soul... as much as he could smile at how things turned out, he had to face the question... Who was he?

A very caring and soft lion he was, but it was in the face of hard times that pushed him to be the shoulder to bear the weight. With it lifted he was at a loss, and so he disappeared for some time. He didn't need to be nice to a fault, to the point of passiveness. As king, consort or not, he was one of the rulers of the Pridelands, and it was about time he acted like it. Confident, even if it let him be arrogant sometimes; Bold, even if it made things more difficult. On the road to finding his place, not in the Circle of Life but in history.

History: Kovu was chosen as Scar's heir, born during the darkest days of the Pridelands under the late king's rule; Born in grief, as they say. Kovu and his family lived in the Outlands, surviving and waiting for a moment of opportunity. Kovu soon made a friend, and Zira saw this as an opportunity, thus he was raised in hate, helpless to defy his fate.

At least, he was helpless until he was sent on his mission and learned that his mother was wrong, and so to Kiara learned her family was wrong, the two standing together to stop the bloodshed, but sadly not without the loss of his brother Nuka and his mother, Zira.

His sister now heads the Lion Guard, with Kion ruling a new kingdom; His work in the Pridelands was done, while Kiara and Kovu were welcomed and the path to leadership opened for them further... though there was still much for them to do to prove themselves, to match up to Kiara's little brother and his guard. Simba's rule will put the Pridelands back on track... and Kovu wouldn't be content to just 'not screw it up', he would be just as good, if not a better king than Simba, with all due respect to him.

Kovu had practically disappeared since everything went down, and returned having prepared not only to deal with the aftermath, but with his future...
