GENERAL INFO

Personality: Si-se is a strange cheetah, actions often not aligning with his desires or preferences. Largely owing to his strained relationship with his family. He is a social creature in that he enjoys having company, but doesn't like to talk and doesn't seem too interested in hearing others out, either. Rumor has it he really doesn't know how to make friends, but has an instinct to 'hang out'.

When it comes to his talents, Si-se is as much a mystery. At times needing prompting and poking to share what he knows, and even neglecting to mention things. His response is often dismissive. Is it that he doesn't understand others think differently from him? Perhaps. The cheetah is peculiar in his habit of walking where he needs to go, and saving his sprinting for departure.

Si-se enjoys improving or bolstering his memory by using rhymes or even songs, or other means to make his talent for remembering more fun and varied; and especially likes to share these with others. The cheetah is curiously sensitive to praise; Epecially when the praise is directed other than to his memory he takes it to heart. He has a similarly strange relationship with humility, when Si-se is wrong his ego can completely disappear as he opens fully to learning or correcting.

History:

Sikia Sema (Si-se) was born and raised in the Pridelands, as fate would have it he would be the third child, having two older sisters and one younger. While cheetahs are known to prefer being alone, this changed, owing to everything that was going on under Scar's reign, including doubt in The Lion King, both the position and King Simba specifically. His parents tried to be closer, and Si-se's start of independence was yoinked and replaced with 'family time'. This couldn't have gone less according to plan.

Si-se felt suffocated by his family's attempts at fostering love, a bond he called unnatural. Having little to say to his family, he proved quite the listener, and possessed a sharp memory. This cheetah has an uncanny ability to recall the most random events, and especially excels at committing things to memory. He grew more rebellious over the seasons, using his talent to evade his parents and gain the co-operation of his sisters. Whether rewarding with juicy gossip, or threatening with sharing not-so-secret secrets.

Inspired by Fuli joining the Lion Guard, Si-se thinks himself to have the potential to replace another species, and to tell the lions what to do. He seeks not the Guard but to replace another bird... Zazu, the king's Majordomo and advisor. If he can prove himself to the lions, tolerate the bird-brain, he'll be happy to run around the savannah all day. As annoying as he finds the other Pridelanders? They are more fun than his family.
