Kabili nodded his head.
He held up the journal again, since he couldn’t tell if the substance was magic. Or what it was at all, he definitely could say one thing for sure: “Again, I’ve been reading. And a lot of the things she’s writing? Imply there is some magic at play here,” he explained. “I might have thought it was crazy a few months ago. But as the guy who has been hearing Mufasa’s voice talking to me in my head. I’m pretty sure we’ve passed the point of unrealistic now.”
Was it a good idea to probably share that information now? Maybe not. But at this point it was the best way of putting it.
He turned to Tara and took a look at the rock next. Rubbing his hands together he decided it was time to put his newly growing muscles at least to some use. “Come on, if the two of us work together we can probably make it budge,” he explained as he positioned his back against it. “At the count of three…”

It was indeed impressive! The jackal would see Fuli didn't even touch the water, completely clean, perfectly dry. A job well done, like anyone would expect anything else from the fastest. And speaking about her, Fuli foes to push the rock with her hands and...[roll = 19] For the ancestors! There is a reason she is the fastest. As the two humans are still thinking about moving that rock, there is a loud splash as Fuli almost effortlessly gets that rock down on the shallow river. It stands like a bridge; quite tall, clinky, and definitely not as safe as a bridge had to be, but it was safer to be around one meter over the water, stepping onto some slippery rock, than into said water. Because it was hot, clearly extremely hot!
If Kabili was to push the rock by himself... [roll = 8] he was not gonna be that successful. It was larger and heavier than the one Fuli pushed by herself. but if Tara helped him out, [roll = 12, total of 20] they would be just strong enough to barely tilt it slightly forward after seconds of arduous muscle exercise. It slowly tilted more, and gravity kept pulling it through its invisible threat until it splashed! Hopefully, no one was next to the water when it fell or they would be splashed by that water for sure!
And so they had... half a bridge! One would have to climb onto one end and then walk over the rock to the end of it. there, they would have to jump between the rocks, a good three to five feet, and then walk through Fuli's rock so they could jump down on the other side safe and sound. Certainly a much, much shorter jump!

"Girly." he said to Tara, "I'll believe in magic when I do." he snorted loudly, hotly. He looked at Kabili, tilting his head, completely dumbfounded. "Well I got something to imply, Billy. Maybe you two are crazy! Yeah, I said it. We animals have talked like, forever. I'unno, maybe your crazy got to the animals where you come from too." he shrugged.
The golden jackal took a seat where he was, watching as everyone else got to work, and his tongue hung out, a happy pup at that fact! He was saving his energy for a fight if there was one, anyways. He had plenty of time to do things later, right now he got to wait, and shake his head at Kabili's foolish words. Once the deed was done, he ran and jumped across the now-smaller gap. "You hear those fur-brains, Fuli?" he scoffed, speaking upon arrival.

Fuli watched the rock teeter and fall, quickly jumping back to avoid the spray of water. She was pleased to see that those on the other side had a similar idea and were doing their part as well. Finally, everyone was cooperating on something! Took 'em long enough. She stayed back until the splash of boiling water was over and the little puddles had cooled off a little before approaching the river again. "All right, one at a time!" she barked (err, meowed?) to the others. "And be careful, this thing isn't exactly stable." Bandit went first across the makeshift crossing, and Fuli watched the others attentively as they (presumably) did the same. She paid no attention to Bandit's comment, being more concerned at the moment with how the humans would balance without any tails or claws to keep them on balance.

Tara also 'bought' the magic angle. It was what was supposed to be responsible for all of the talking animals after all. So she merely nodded to the first part of Kabili's statement, before looking stunned as he went on. "Whoa, those old kings they talk about, you can actually hear them? What kind of things do they say? Sorry later", she realized, "Though...", she began to wonder, "Could that have been them earlier...", she said half to herself.
Kabili got her and them back on track by offering to aid with rock budging. She gave a slight chuckle, stretching a bit also. "Living in the jungle perks here we go". Even though she hadn't (and wouldn't!) go full native she had been living in the jungle for months and with a leopard also. She was also helping to give herself some motivation since...she trusted Kabili's muscles were now up to the task.
Fuli moved another rock to aid them but it looked like they still needed theirs.
Well, she had been climbing a lot of trees since with Yun Mibu. She positioned also helping with the count. [b["One...two..."[/b]. On three she gave the push all she had also! The rock did move...eventually. Though now a bit tired she grinned and let some of the animals, namely Bandit, go first before walking across also, holding her arms out to balance.

Kabili decided to ignore Bandit’s calling him crazy.
Instead he focused on Tara’s questions as he began to help move the rock. “It’s complicated, Simba and Rafiki think so though. I’ve been hearing Mufasa every so often since I crashed,” he explained honestly, not caring whether Bandnit was listening or believed him or not. “I haven’t heard him since we set out though. And considering I tried to reach out it definitely doesn’t seem like it works like calling long-distance either.”
Once the rock was down, he let Bandit be Bandit. Considering that guy was about as crazy as can be at this point he figured. As he got onto the rock and began to trek carefully he piped in more. “He’s the one that kept nagging me to find Zion though. Not just mom’s memory,” he admitted. It was the honest truth after all. “I think they want us to find it. Like… That’s why we’re here.”
God, maybe he did sound crazy. Stepping down and reaching the other end however he noted. “Either way, I guess it runs in the family, both dad and Kion have actually talked to him before.”
