Kion was happy that Kabili wasn't hurt! Extremally satisfied with that, he got there in time! But he was extremally unhappy with the fact the human urged the jackal to obey him while he himself would not obey his dad. But that was something to discuss another time when they were safe. Right now? These two's safety was all the lion cub cared about, even being the youngest of the three pridelanders there.
Kion's attention was on the jackal! As he was kicked out, the lion quickly advanced between Kabili and the jackal, and readied himself again "I am the leader of the Lion Guard, and you should have more respect towards the royal family!"
Technically they were right. These two were hmm prey in their territory. But Kion was not going to just let them eat his brother, even if they were not in the wrong. His job was getting more morally grey as time went on!
Kion might have missed that part about just stalling, and he would usually just talk if they were willing to talk. But, right now, these two threatened his family and his sister's friend, and he warned them!
Under Zuri's screech, the hyena, who was still finishing his phrase, would see the lion cub pouncing the larger jackal. He might be small, but he packed a bigger punch than his mane-tuff would lead one to believe. Claws out as he tried a quick one-tackle pin!
"Grrhhwwl!" The lion snarled at the jackal's face, having succeeded or not. He was too busy to... meow orders at the other two, but surely they knew waht to do, right?

Supposed to be watching his little brother? Kabili scowled.
He did however seem a little confused by the word "Mgen". And the fact that even Zuri was a little taken aback by it. Then again, even he was smart enough to see what was going on as he finally got to his feet. Retrieving his knife with a tilt of his head. "You're one to talk, חמור," He snapped back. The Hebrew word for "ass" might be a little less insulting... But at the same time it would certainly confuse the jackal.
Of course, he wasn't exactly expecting the hyena to stand guard of him...
But still, he was sure as hell not going to stay down. Spinning his knife into a striking position. So the sneak attack hadn't worked, but he was certainly not afraid of confrontation... Mostly. "Come on puppy dog, let's dance," he said. As this time he went in for a quicker strike.

Zuri was grateful that Kion was here, she had a way of liking him only when it was in her benefit, but at least this was one of those times. Age didn't matter here, Zuri was smart enough to know he was the strongest, and to not have shame in being saved... shame in being caught however, but even that was quenched by the very real danger they were in!
The jackal snarled, "Ain't no royal family with no royal blood!" he said, looking right at Kabili, his point clear, just as Kion was on his way, getting a savage bite on his snout, but the jackals paws would move to push him off, and he would unfortunately not shut the jackal's wicked maw. "And you, if you don't want to spill yours all over our outlands, you'll shove off!" he accompanied the word with a physical shove at Kion.
Zuri in the midst of the fight, curled her ears back as the jackal talked. At least it was just an angry outlander saying those things. "Shut his stinking mouth!" she said, not an order but more... cheering him on!
She turned her attention to Kabili, as he squared off with the hyena, who snarled. "Puppy dog?!" he asked, "Us hyenas is more cat than you! And cats don't dance!" they were really mad at the human, or they just were hoping it would get to him. He did look at Zuri, trying to think of a way to insult her too, but by then the knife would hit him, exactly where Kabili was aiming. He indeed was the slowest hyena, it was jackals that lied after all!

Kion got on top of the Jackal and pushed his face down against the ground with one paw as he gave a quick look around. Zuri was fine, good! Kabili was fighting the hyena with that... That thing he showed the lion earlier! Everyone was fin-
And he got pushed off the jackal once he had his attention somewhere else. His works affecting the lion in ways they were clearly not supposed to. The snarl on the back of his throat grew "That. Is. ENOUGH!" He said in a loud, angry tone.
On the sky on top of them, clouds covered the sun, turning darker and darker in less than a second. Kion was not standing there to hear a jackal complain about the royal family! Maybe he should think tw- no! The Jackal had already said enough!
"ROOOOAAAARRR!"
Kion roared with the strength of a thousand kings, and the clouds roared with him. A frontal shockwave going towards the jackal, breaking and pushing and carrying some of the bones from the ground around them. The jackal would have a hard time avoiding it and, if he didn't he was to be the first sacrifice in the lion's space program.
While this was certainly a way to end the fight with the jackal, it was meant to be a way to shut him up and, maybe, also get the hyena to surrender. Unless he brought his space helmet.

No royal blood his ass!
Kabili might have been the newest member of the family. But he was definitely determined to prove he could, had, and would earn his place in their ranks or he'd be damned... But for the moment, he had other problems to deal with. Like the fact that the hyena was now pouncing at him. Kabili aimed, his voice tense, somewhat cracking. "If you don't like being called one. Don't act like a frickin' cub." He snarked back.
Just as Kion had let out the roar, he struck the Hyena on its front paw. Stabbing it into the Earth. Of course, Kabili didn't aim to kill, though he easily could have. But the strike would still make that point for him. "You saw what Kion did to your buddy," he said as he lept onto the back of the hyena...
He moved his arm in an arc to attempt to choke hold him. Wondering if he'd get the chance, but hoping the inability to move its paw would do the job for him. "Now are you next, or you gonna let me, my brother, and my friends leave?"

The jackal had his scowling face on Kion's, while he did have enough heart to try to talk to Kion, that didn't change how vile his words were. Not just that, how vile he was. This jackal who's name Kion certainly wouldn't care to know, a grown jackal. Not some child who didn't know better, he wasn't even wronged by anyone. It was certain that had he said anything else, it would have been just as terrible.
Zuri watched Kion and this jackal intently, their connection was loose, but seeing what this guy was like... was she fueling their fire with her own words? She kept quiet, and stayed out of the boys' way. Soon enough she would be watching in awe at the Kings roaring with Kion to destroy this jackal. She watched him fly skyward, and the bones carry with him. Thankfully none of the cubs could see if any of the bones had skewered him in the air... but he went up, far out of sight, and none of them would see him come back down. It would be for the best if he didn't get to become the grass.
The hyena, who the jackal had called Pumzi, was focused on Kabili. Even with his acquaintance roared off, he cared far too much about his own hide to be distracted by him! "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, genuinely confused, he was not quick-witted enough... and it only made it more pitiful when his paw found itself stabbed to the earth! "AAAHH! MY PAW!" he yowled like the hurt puppy he definitely was. He wasn't as vile. One could say it's that he didn't have goodness, rather than he was filled with evilness. His neck would be easy prey, this cub had more than just fended him off, he'd defeated him.
His eyes filled with fear, Kabili's strange claw was holding him to the earth, while his friend was in space. Kabili still had his hands to finish him off... and that's not to mention two lions that could make sure he 'learned his lesson'. His eyes watered from the pain, but maybe also some tears of his situation! "L-L-Leave! Do what you want, j-just take your claw and let me go!" he... bawled, looking at his paw. "I'm sorry, we won't call you mgen anymore!" He blinked and brought his free forepaw to his mouth in a face-paw at having said the word in his promise. "In fact I'll run away as soon as I see one of you lions! You won't have to see me again, honest!!" He was scared, but he definitely deserved to be.
While it was obvious he would say anything to be spared, Pumzi didn't seem entirely sure what he did wrong, or what they wanted from him. All he knew was that he did not want to end up like that jackal!

Well, wasn't that unfortunate?
Kion stepped forward, the growl in his voice growling louder, he stopped close to the hyena, looking down at his paw on the ground. Ouch, that oughta hurt! He gave Kabili a side look, one that said "I'm proud!" Or "I'm impressed!" But then his eyebrows went slightly down, signalizing "But lemme show you how the pros do it!"
Wasn't that unfortutane?~
"You will NOT touch my family, my friends or anyone of the pridelands, did you understand, hyena?" He growled in the hyena's snout almost, his teeth on show. He was going to make sure the hyena learnt his lesson...
But it wasn't the teeth the hyena had to worry about, no... This poor spotted creature had to worry about something much more dangerous.
The lion breathes in, and there was no time to prepare as he sonic-roared the hyena off the ground, with the knife and everything, at point-blank range. He was going to meet the jackal in their new moon colony, and hopefully, never ever cause them trouble ever again.
"ROOOOAAAARRR!"

Kabili kind of felt a panic of sympathy.
Sure the animals had had bad intentions. But he also felt a bit of remorse in having scared the hyena so much. Even if he had to remind himself that it could have been his head if not. “That’s what you guys get for underestimating me,” he was blunt, but not outright mean. “Next time you and the rest go picking on the royal family. I hope they’ll think twice.”
He removed his knife and was quick to move out of Kion’s way.
Of course, he took a little deep breath when it was all over. Rubbing his knees as he did. “Man, am I glad you showed up,” Kabili replied. Though it was probably a little embarrassed - he was relieved. “Thanks for the save, uh, bro…”
Honestly it felt good to say that - though it also felt foreign to him. A good foreign though, the kind that instilled deep pride inside.

Terror filled not only the hyena's eyes, but also Zuri's. She was seeing another side of him "Here I thought you were just Kiara's annoying little brother." she said, finally.
"This... is a really different side of you."
Soon enough however, the sprinting paws of the packs came upon them. That last roar having overshadowed it.
"Woah." The eyes of hyenas and jackals were on Kion.
"Haha! Can't believe they was dumb enough to even challenge Kion..." one hyena said with a laugh.
Zuri gulped, looking down and away.
One jackal eyed her, "Yeah Zuri, how did things go down?" She asked, both packs kept their distance, showing no aggression, only tense fear.
Zuri did not answer.

Kion was not panting when he was done, no, he merely had to take deep breaths. His eyes were intense and he was sure to give out an equaly intense set of vibes as the hyena&jackal duo went flying away, away. The frown on his face was dissolved by Kabili's words, turning into a bright boy-scout smile. "Of course, bro. My jobe is to keep everyone safe, especially my family!" There was a huge difference between hiw Kion acted now and what he was like when facing those outlanders. He also said thoae words as honestly as one could. As if he wasn't struggling with the fact his parents adopted a monkey. His dad said Kabili was to be his brother, and that was apparently good enough for him.
"What do you mean?" He asked the lioness; but his ears turned to the side as he heard steps...
The frown was back full force, he turned to face the horde that was smart enough to srop what Kion could only believe was a charge. He did not know of any story the two pridelanders might have had with those. All he knew was rhat jackals and hyenas were evil, and they had already attacked his family. Less than a minute ago! "Stand back!" Kion ordered with a growl under his breath. His fierce side was out again, so different from his boy scout self. "You are going to apologize for what you have done. Im not asking again!" And he lowered his head in a fighting stance. As if he wasn't even giving them the benefit of the doubt. That one hyena was smart; who would be the dumb one to challange the leader of the Lion Guard?

Kabili let himself smile a little.
Family, right. It was sometimes hard to believe he had siblings now, or that he could count on them. Hell, in some ways it was even weirder to accept said siblings were frickin’ lions. But the way Kion said it had hit him in the right place - a good place. “Right, I uh, guess I just am still getting used to having a brother or sister to call family,” he chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Speaking of… Can we keep this between us? You know dad is going to killlll me.”
Well. If they didn’t first.
Tensing a little he turned to stare down the hyenas himself. For a moment, he didn’t do anything. But after a moment - he stepped forward with his knife prepped and dripping blood. “Kion’s right. I mean - one of us is trouble but even I don’t think you guys are dumb enough to challenge both princes are you?” He raised an eyebrow. “Because I’ll be more than happy to give the rest of you knuckleheads a demonstration of what we just did there.”

Zuri sighed, standing behind both princes, neither one worthy of her. "I mean you... you're like a warrior when you aren't a dork." she said, not meaning any insult but not having a better way to describe his usual persona. "Ha. Kion's almost as bad as Zazu about telling Simba everything." she said mocking his request. "Face it, we're gonna get grounded." she scoffed.
"Both princes? How do we keep them straight?" one hyena asked, and the other gave him a shove. "One of them has the roar, and the other is the mgeni.". Finally the 'smart' hyena stepped forward, and asked a question that quite probably removed that title from him. "Uh... how do we apologize? I don't even know what we did, it was that vulture that brought 'em here right?" he received affirmation from the rest of the group. "Usually you beat us up, Kion..." he shrugged.
