Though the king himself didn't notice it, in a way Yun Mibu's stumbling endeared him to Simba by showing he was genuine. "I ask you only wait on myself or Kion to inform them that you will be hunting them. Otherwise, the more you can handle on your own, or with the help of other... prey, the better.
"While I appreciate that you have no problems with any of this..." he started, "I would appreciate if you spoke up. I see it in your eyes, you have things to say. Speak up, you must have confidence if you are to make friends."

The king clarified what he meant, Yun Mibu nodded again to show he got the distinction. "Understood". He was just...treading so carefully, as the king pointed out. The longer this interaction didn't turn bad was working on the clouded leopard as well, loosening him up, bit by bit so that by this point he could give a small, almost self-deprecating smile.
"Sorry your Majesty, it's just...new, having direct associations with larger predators and fitting into the politics around here", he admitted, "As you no doubt noticed in having to lay down so many rules and since the Backlands are...lawless perhaps. Independent I'd say".
He was aware how it allowed for some to take advantage, if they wanted to, so didn't see the structure of the Pride Lands as a bad thing. "Nothing specific to add, perhaps I'm just hoping my fitting in will go smoothly", he admitted.

Eyeing Yun Mibu with a nod, his highness let out a hrm. "Yes, I am expecting you to remember a lot. Don't stress over the details, you will be reminded, with no fault toward you, if you slip up." he said trying to be reassuring. He didn't want the clouded leopard scared, just compliant.
"I understand you have different ways, and customs, and I will tolerate or even embrace them." he smiled, diversity was good for a kingdom. "It is up to you, and my other subjects, to make things go smoothly." he noted, "Do you have any concerns?" he asked, "If I don't know about it now, I can't accommodate it, but... you can always come to me if you think of something."

"Thankyou", Yun Mibu did look reassured by King Simba saying it wouldn't be held against him if he couldn't remember everything, and that small slip ups would be met with understanding where possible.
"Also for understanding on our customs, though I shouldn't think they would clash with those of the PrideLands", but, again, nice to know such wouldn't be an automatic out.
He nodded again, and would do his part towards a smooth transition.
Yun Mibu then thought over if he had any concerns to bring. There was one that seemed to maybe stand out, and he thought how best to phrase it, "Nothing that immediately comes to mind, Your Majesty, a forested section to stay in, not currently anyone who would mind's home, but also...I suppose I should just know and be prepared, what other large predator species, canine or other cats, reside in the Pride Lands?", he asked.
"If they're friendly I don't imagine there will be any issues, but...we Clouded Leopards hate being...surprised where we can help it", he smiled. It went along with the aversion to larger animals growing at them. "That's all I can think to bring beforehand and at the moment, except to thankyou again for giving this chance".

Simba nodded, warming up quite clearly to Yun Mibu and struggling to maintain his royal presentation. "You are welcome." He was pleased that the clouded leopard spoke up after his prodding.
"Great question." he said, eager to praise him for coming out of his shell and speaking of potential conflict. "The only large predators that live here, properly, are lions and cheetahs." he thought a moment, "Cheetahs do.... not like being compared to leopards, they are shy like you but in a more... aggressive way. I would advise paying attention to them at the watering hole, try not to let them see you are watching them.
The king knew there were many potential surprises, but cheetahs in particular he didn't want his own advice to lead Yun Mibu astray. "Surprises... well, that's what the tour will help with." he put his paw on the clouded leopard's shoulder, then nodded. "Subject to completing these tasks... Yun Mibu, I welcome you to the Pridelands. As of now, you may call yourself a Pridelander." he brought his paw to the ground, "Get to finding yourself a place to live." he smiled a royal, or fatherly, smile.

It did take some prodding at times, as he had just proven, but Yun Mibu was easing up and finding his voice.
The clouded leopard nodded. He had never encountered Cheetahs, something that would probably change in his time here, but what little he had heard went along the same lines, and for their felt distinctness from leopards. Just as independent and aloof but more defensive in that. Well, he could easily give space, understanding the need of it, and would try his best to not offend.
He was at the point where he didn't flinch, and was surprised himself at not doing so, as Simba placed a paw on his shoulder, taking it as his further initiation in a sense and the king's ease with him shown. As much as someone like the king could. "Thank-you Sire" he nodded, and upped his own titling a bit to go along with now being considered a Pride Lander, small things and his compliance dependent.
He nodded again and followed the king to see about the tour, as he said.
